Find Yourself (Brad Paisley’s song)

When you find yourself
In some far off place
And it causes you
To rethink some things
You start to sense
That slowly you’re becoming someone else
And then you find yourself

When you make new friends
In a brand new town
And you start to think
About settlin’ down
The things that would have been lost on you
Are now clear as a bell
And you find yourself
Yeah that’s when you find yourself

Well you go through life
So sure of where you’re headin’
And you wind up lost
And it’s the best thing that could have happened
‘Cause sometimes when you lose your way
It’s really just as well
‘Cause you find yourself
Yeah that’s when you find yourself

When you meet the one
That you’ve been waiting for
And she’s everything
That you want and more
You look at her, and you finally start
To live for someone else
And then you find yourself
Yeah, that’s when you find yourself

We go through life
So sure of where we’re heading
And then we wind up lost
And it’s the best thing that could have happened
And sometimes when you lose your way
It’s really just as well
Because you find yourself
Yeah, that’s when you find yourself

Sound the Bugle (Bryan Adams’ song)

Sound the bugle now - play it just for me
As the seasons change - remember how I used to be
Now I can’t go on - I can’t even start
I got nothing left - just an empty heart

I’m a soldier - wounded so I must give up the fight
There’s nothing more for me - lead me away
Or leave me lying here

Sound the bugle now - tell them I don’t care
There’s not a road I know that leads to anywhere
Without a light - I fear that I will stumble in the dark
Lay right down - decide not to go on

Then from on high - somewhere in the distance
There’s a voice that calls - “remember who you are”
If you lose yourself - your courage soon will follow
So be strong tonight - remember who you are

Yeah - you’re a soldier now - fighting in a battle
To be free once more
Yeah - that’s worth fighting for
